A note to keep noting

the slant of the sun

evening shadows on trees

pink tipped buds bursting,

chamelaucium! Perfect in miniature.

The world is thirsting for relief,

from the grief springs a call

to action

to share this swelling seed

of belief

that together like mycelium,

a network of meeting

hive-minds,

hearts beating

maybe, just maybe

we might tip the scales her way.
